If you would like the error message to disappear, un-install EasyOffice, and when you re-install and perform a custominstallation, make sure to check off the 'EasyVoice' box. (Or, download a more recent version of EasyOffice, where this problem has been resolved.)

Before the installation starts, InstallShield checks to see if your computer's Windows memory is in order. If any corruption is detected, it willl not proceed with the installation of EasyOffice.
Do the following:
Shutdown your computer, and then restart it.
Insert the EasyOffice CD-ROM again (or run the downloaded EasyOffice again), and it should install properly.
"Installation Error: 'Error created in MFC42.DLL'"
An old copy of MFC42.dll needed to be updated but was not.
To solve: Backup MFC42.dll. Restart in MS-DOS. Delete MFC42.dll. Start in Windows mode. Install EasyOffice again.
"Installation Error: 'Incompatible Version of the RPC Stub' "
During installation, you get the the following error message:
Error number: 0x80070725
Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub The error appears as the following image:
This error is caused by a DLL that was installed on the system, such as Oleaut32.dll, Olepro32.dll, Asycfilt.dll, Stdole2.tlb, or others that are not compatible with that system. For example, version 3.50 of Oleaut32.dll is installed and used only by Windows XP and so causes this error if it is installed on a machine running any other operating system.
The only way to avoid this error is to download and run the following executable that is provided by Microsoft.

When you run this executable, when it prompts you whether you wish to overwrite Newer files, make sure to click YES for each file ( do not select "No" or "No to All" ).
"When making cutom EasyOffice installations using EasyCustomInstaller, how come the installed programs claim that they are in freeware mode and have to be registered?"
It is necessary to register EasyOffice on EACH of the custom installed computers with the corect serial number. Once that is done, the software will not remind the user of registration again.
"An error:'InstallShield error code - 6002" occurred and setup cannot continue".
This problem has to deal with differerent versions of InstallShield (the program that installs EasyOffice and many other software). Please follow the this entry of the InstallShield Knowledge base and the problem should be resolved.
